Healthways manages the cost of every component of your Substance Abuse Testing (SAT) program so that each dollar is wisely invested.   Below is a list of roles we play for you:

      - development of substance abuse policy compliant with all State and Federal
        regulations  

• Serve as one point of contact for all of your substance abuse testing needs.
• Provide resources that help keep you informed of various regulations and industry developments.
• Keep you apprised of cost-effective testing options.
• Administer structured program implementation procedures.
• Interface and coordinate activities with collection sites and laboratories.
• Distribute Custody and Control Forms (CCFs) to your locations.
• Pro-actively pursue CCFs for DOT-regulated tests.
• Deliver Medical Review Officer (MRO) services consistent with state and Federal regulations.
• Provide comprehensive access to SAT data online to audit program performance.
• Present program compliance tools in the form of online management reports.
• Allow searches for collection sites within your organization’s established network and provide online requests for additional sites.
• Produce consolidated invoices for SAT services.

Client Services:  One of the main reasons that clients select Healthways as their program manager is our commitment to service and technology.  We use leading-edge technology to support our superior customer service program.  Our Client Services department is accessible for questions and concerns.

Data Management:  As a primary means of communication, all results are delivered via emai or fax to your Designated Employer Representatives (DER).  However, the key to program empowerment is your online dashboard at: www.healthways.cc.  The dashboard creates visibility into testing data and random compliance.  In addition, there are tools to create various management reports and search for collection sites within your established network.

Regulatory Compliance:  As part of our standard service, we offer access to websites for Federal and state laws and industry news.  This tool, which links from you online dash-board, assists you in maintaining a compliant program.

Invoicing:  We generate a bi-monthly, consolidated invoice for all SAT services.  On the invoice, each donor is identified (without the result) to allow for easy reconciliation.  Disputed charges must be identified within thirty days of receipt of invoice.
